Traffic Incident Management
This 16-hour (2-day) fire-service focused course trains responders to safely manage roadway incidents using proven traffic incident management (TIM) principles. Emphasis is placed on survivability, apparatus blocking, temporary traffic control, ICS / unified coordination, and efficient scene clearance. The course is written for fire/rescue but transfers cleanly to EMS, law enforcement, DOT/public works, and towing partners.
